40 Years of Jim Sensenbrenner is Enough
I’ve always been one to step up when there’s a need for leadership. I served six years in the U.S. Navy, chasing bad guys around on a nuclear submarine. More recently, I’ve been a small business owner. In fact, since 2004, I’ve run a business that has created thousands of high-paying, family-supporting jobs across our great state. While some consider my agenda to be progressive, I consider it to be simply common sense:
Economic Growth: our economy is at its best when hard-working Americans can find high-paying jobs.
Medicare For All: it’s a right, not a privilege, and everyone deserves equal access to high-quality care.
Equality: decades of systemically unequal policies have marginalized far too many and those policies must be changed.
Education: student debt is out of control and our local public schools are underfunded. Every kid deserves an equal chance at a top-notch education.
Climate: we can no longer bury our heads in the sand. This is the greatest crisis of our time. We need leaders who will address it head-on, and now.
My opponent is Republican Jim Sensenbrenner. He’s been in Congress for 40 years, has supported every Trump policy, has an “A” rating with the NRA and has refused to put country over party from day one of this administration. As an heir to the Kimberly-Clark fortune, he inherited his wealth and has never had to labor a day in his life. How can he possibly understand the needs of the working people he represents? 40 years is enough, it's time for change.
